Commuter train accident near where I work

Post by Shinreineko » Thu Mar 25, 2010 12:42 am

The other day there was a bad accident involving the light rail (commuter train) near where I work. A semi trailer attempted to go through an intersection while the signal was on, and got split in two by the train. No serious injuries, but it did mess up train routing for a couple days.

Wow that's funny hehe, my Mom saw it on the news as well, in Michigan. This happened a block away from where I work. It was the semi driver's fault, as he went through when the signal was on. Looks like he's going to be facing charges. Also, i'd imagine given the amount of damage caused, his driving career is probably over lol.
