Retired

Post by warlax007 » Sun Dec 05, 2004 1:22 am

It has been almost 5 years since I first made warlax and the time has come now to retire. It was tough as I logged in last night to find a really good friend. She had been with me longer then everyone else that I have met. I think I met her the 3rd or 4th day I was playing. I said my good by to her then to the people who were left in the guild.

You guys made this whole experience so thrilling for me. My thanks to everyone and all the fun times I had with you guys. I will never for get it.

Warlax will not be sold or any of his gear stripped or any of my alts. I put in 5 year of this game and I'm going out all intact.

PS to all the people who are in WoW lets make some more memories that will last anther 5 years!

You and I go WAY back Warlax, and it was great times to be sure. We were in 3 guilds together and you were a great addition to every one. I always miss our groups back in FV killing spider and drolvarg, those were damn fun times, and what a great crew we had. I'll see you in WoW, lets kick some horde butt.

I think that all those LDoNs we did are some of the fondest memories I have of EQ and that is saying alot considering how much ennui had built up in me about the game prior to LDoN.

Considering we are playing WoW together now, I know this isn't goodbye, but it does have an air to it of the end of a chapter of a good story and it carries with a bit of sadness for good things that now lie in the past and can never be recaptured.

But as I said, this is not goodbye and we will forge ahead with this new chapter. Here is to the hope that this chapter will be as sweet as the last.
