We miss you all as well.
Giving up on Thall and Teek after what we had been through was a difficult decision.
But what memories we have!
The run at level 8 from Freeport to Qeynos and back in order to fetch Teeka,
meeting Caniel in Lake Rathe,
Trains in Unrest,
The first time I saw Gore and the resulting CR(s)
(she doesn't seem to care much for bards...but she eventually came to "rue the day" she tangled with Walkers!)
We honestly consider anyone with the integrety required to become a Walker as RL friends who will be welcome in our home and lives no matter how far apart our paths may wander over time.
Anytime any of you find yourselves in the Atlanta area we want to know about it.
There will probably never be anything quite like EQ1 and Walkers, I think we all learned a great deal about ourselves and people in general from that experience.
The wonderful group of people, the "immersion" into a fantastic new world, and the creation of a micro-society/economy, will probably have a larger long term effect on us all and the online community than we currently realize.
We have been playin WoW beta a little bit and plan to buy in.
Teek and I had a hoot running around with River during the stress beta and it hooked us easily.
It seems to be more casual/fun oriented than eq which could certainly create drama at times.
I really like the fact that it doesn't require a nitrogen cooled, quantum processor with a terabyte video card and straight fiber connect to run.
(although I have one back-ordered anyway raaaaaa!)
We would like to hear reviews of eq2 from people that we know.
Performance, content, CS, etc.
From talking to some devs in the industry it seems to be labeled as a half baked resource hog still a year or so away from a proper release.
But then they all work for competing companies...
To those of you playing WoW we will see you in game!
To those of you playing EQ2 keep us posted, you never know who may show up on your server mwahahaha.
To those of you moving on to other pursuits, never forget what we've had here, and don't be shy about droppin us a line dallas@blueharbor.com or pat@blueharbor.com
Thanks for thinking of us, Walkers RULE always and in all ways
