A few weeks ago I noticed something happen to the picture on my moniter.
Sort of like someone had come up behind the picture pushed it and retracted it real fast.
Didn't happen much then ( maybe once or twice in a few hours), but it is now starting to happen with much more frequency ( maybe 6 times an hour).
Everything else seems to be running ok.
Guesses here are 1. Video Card, 2. Monitor
Any suggestions on how to fix it ?

I had something similar happen about 6 months ago. Thought it was the vid card, which it could be for you, but my monitor was shot. Eventually all that remained was a shiny silver line thru the middle of my screen.

Try swapping monitors with Mac and see if it still happens ... if it does it is your video card ... if Mac starts having problems it is the monitor ... poor mac hehe

It was
2. Monitor
The Monitor started to go to a black screen that could only be fixed by rebooting.
Not having the problem now that I have a new monitor.
Thanks all for your help troubleshooting
